My New Purple Dyson

I have had vacuum troubles for a while now. This past October i bought a vacuum from walmart, a yellow eureka with a power claw...it rocked...lol...then in January it died...that was the 2nd vacuum that has died on us, so bigga says no more cheap vacuums!!!

So Sunday we went to best buy and purchased a Dyson, not any Dyson...i got the PURPLE one...lol...for those of you who know me, I'm so freaking excited!! i have wanted a Dyson for many years now, but to actually have one, and the purple one at that!!!

But the cool thing about is, we purchased it on Sunday night and after we get home i find a bed bath and beyond coupon for 20% off one item, and we just looked at each other like shit damn!! best buy takes competitor coupons!! so we took our receipt and the coupon back to best buy, and they adjusted the price...saved us a $117!!! awesome!!

So last night after i put it together, i of course turned it on to see how it did, and OMG, lemme just say, well worth the money!!! my other vacuums picked up hair and dirt and stuff, but this thing made it look like i have a sand box in my house!! (well we all wear our shoes around n stuff!!)....

well i will quit babbling about it!!! I'm just way excited...lol...to be able to clean again....

So today went really well. Natalie done so good, which she usually does...she just sat there while the dr & the audiologist put stuff in her ears...lol...guess shes use to it by now!! So the results are.....drum roll please...tubes are good, no fluid, and hearing is almost totally normal...the one ear is still on the low end of normal, but good. We go back in 6 months and the dr. said her hearing should be totally normal by then...so we will see...

I think in my heart I knew her ears were ok. I had noticed a huge improvement in her hearing since the tubes. Just not really the speech. But now that I know her ears are ok, Im good. I think I will talk to her teacher when she comes out on thursday to see where she stands in speech...and if shes ok then I will put the whole issue to rest...lol...

Follow Up ENT Appt

So tomorrow is the day of Natalies follow up appt for the tubes in her ears. I am kinda concernced cause she still pulls at her ears, mainly her left...and her language hasnt picked up at all. I wasnt expecting a motor mouth after the tubes...lol...but was under the impression that her language would pick up. I was talking with my husband about this the other night and i came to realize that there maybe more reasons of why her speech seems to be delayed....

1. Because I know what she wants and I get what ever for her without her saying the word.

2. Maybe she is just speech delayed due to her diagnosis.

3. Who knows, maybe its as simple as...maybe she just doesnt want to talk!!

4. Or maybe there really is a problem some where with the tubes, maybe they fell out, or maybe just dont work...lol... 

Dont get me wrong, if shes speech delayed, im ok with that...if thats what it is, then we will work on it. I think im stressin/worrying what ever you want to call it because i dont know where the problem is, wether its her ears or not...ugh...

Well I will let yas know how it turns out...
